Yamaha TD1A 1963 frame

Yamaha TD1A 1963

This is most likely one of the first Yamaha production racers that came to Europe. According to Colin MacKellars book about Yamaha racebikes 120 were built in 1963 and less then ten came to Europe. Some history is known and the first or one of the first owner was New Zealander Morrie Low. Well known continental rider Bo Granath has told me that swedish 125 champion Jan Brening swapped his Honda CR93 with Morrie and got this Yamaha instead when they were racing in England, he also told me he thought it was a bad deal. Morrie Low died in late 1964. Brening raced it one or two years after that. No further history is known before I found it in Stockholm 10 years ago.

Frame number T1 113

What you can see in the pictures is all parts I found.

Price 3200 euro.

SOLD Horex Regina 350 1953 SOLD

Good running bike that is possible to use right away. In my opinion it would need a new paintjob and also needs to have a lot of nuts and bolts replaced to the correct ones. They are easy to get as there are some companys specializing in Horex. We have only one tankbadge, marked with a C as in Columbus, Horex was sold in Sweden. Horex is really not sounding good in Swedish, makes a swede thinking of something completely different, not motorcycles..
1953 it should have a single seat, this bike has the double seat from 1954, probably replaced when the bike was still modern.
According to the odomoter on the original speedometer it has done about 35000 km. Now there is a another speedometer from VDO as we had to change the headlight to another (Hella) and this was already there and in better stand. The original speedo and some ather small parts will come with the bike.
 Price is 5000 euro

Sold Husqvarna 360 1975 WORKS Sold

"Works racer" this Husky was delivered to Six Days HQV 29/09 1975 according to certificate from Husqvarna Museum. It is most likely a worksbike says the same paper.
The bike runs well and are strong, changes gears correctly, easy to start, good lights but will need an major overhaul before use in the woods. This may be the fastest endurobike you could have in the middle of the seventies. Many big races and Championships was won on the 360AE and this is one of the factorys own worksbikes. If you have driven an automatic you know why it is so fast, Engine never stops, no clutch, no changing gears, gearbox works as tractioncontrol. I guess only the absolutely best drivers are as fast or faster on a regular bike, the rest of us will go faster on an automatic.

This bile is now sold
